The final cleanup took place in October 2025 along the Parirejo River, where recent floods had stirred a familiar threat beneath the surface, plastic pollution quietly making its way downstream. By the end of the operation, the 4ocean team recovered 627.1 pounds of waste, including 584 pounds of plastic and 40.1 pounds of mixed materials, the equivalent of 28,000 plastic bottles intercepted before reaching the sea.
With this achievement, Azenco Outdoor and 4ocean have now completed three consecutive years of cleanups, removing a combined 75,000 pounds of debris, more than 2.1 million plastic bottles kept out of rivers and oceans. It’s a shared milestone that reflects purpose, innovation, and tangible environmental progress.

A Shared Commitment to Cleaner Oceans
At Azenco Outdoor, sustainability is not an initiative; it’s part of who we are. Our partnership with 4ocean embodies this belief, combining modern innovation with real-world environmental action.
What began as a single pledge has evolved into a long-term effort to restore waterways and preserve natural ecosystems. Every cleanup stands as a reminder that lasting change is possible when design and responsibility go hand in hand.
For us, innovation extends beyond engineering. It means creating outdoor spaces that enhance the way people live while ensuring those environments remain clean and thriving for generations to come.
Three Years of Purpose in Motion
Year One – Setting the Standard
The collaboration began in 2023, when Azenco Outdoor joined 4ocean’s cleanup initiatives for the first time. That year, 25,000 pounds of debris were removed, establishing a strong foundation for ongoing environmental involvement.
Year Two – Continuing the Momentum
In 2024, Azenco once again met its 25,000-pound goal, reinforcing a consistent, long-term approach to sustainability. This back-to-back success demonstrated how purposeful partnerships can create a measurable impact year after year.
Year Three – A Continuous Effort
By October 2025, the third pledge was fulfilled. During the final operation in Indonesia’s Parirejo River, 4ocean crews navigated challenging post-flood conditions to collect and sort waste, from plastic bottles and bags to discarded footwear and glass. Each sack pulled from the water represented teamwork, perseverance, and the shared belief that small actions can create global change.
On the Frontlines: 4ocean Crews in Action
“Through this action, we hope to inspire more people to care,” said Captain Saiful Kirom, who led the operation.
While Azenco Outdoor supports through different ways, it’s the commitment of these local crews that turns a shared vision into real-world results. Together, Azenco Outdoor and 4ocean continue to demonstrate that design excellence and environmental action can move forward side by side.
Looking Ahead: The 2026 Milestone
This upcoming milestone represents more than scale; it signifies continued responsibility and forward-thinking innovation. As 4ocean expands cleanup operations to protect waterways worldwide, Azenco Outdoor will remain an active partner, supporting teams and sharing the story of collective action.
For us, progress is measured not only by technology or design but by the impact we have on the world around us.
A Shared Message of Responsibility
Three years of effort. Three pledges met. Millions of plastic bottles diverted from the ocean, and a renewed determination to keep going.
Azenco Outdoor will continue to lead with intention, designing products that respect nature and supporting initiatives that protect it. Because redefining outdoor living also means redefining our responsibility to the planet.
Together, we’re proving that every idea, every innovation, and every action can shape a cleaner, brighter future for the next generation.
